Somewhere far from the daily grind, worries melt away. Sunlight, fresh air, bright colors abound. I breathe it in. Exhale: deep sigh of relief. Being close to nature is the cure for many ills, and I found it today in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. 52 acres of natural beauty and neatly manicured gardens nestled in the heart of the borough, but when I’m there I feel like I’m somewhere far away. Probably a sign that it’s time for me to move. In the mean time, I’ll treasure this gem.
