I drew this over two decades ago; I’d just turned twelve. I came across it while looking through some old papers recently. The language is a bit dated, but the message still holds true. 😉

My husband and I recently moved into new digs, leaving behind a gorgeous view of the downtown Minneapolis skyline (above) in order to gain more space. A few days after our move, I couldn’t help but notice that the pets seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the new view. Tell me: am I missing something here? Perhaps they’re seeing something I don’t. Ah well . . . at least someone’s digging it.
A truly remarkable week . . . The city was cloaked in fog for several days straight. My cat, Kier, struck a Ganesha-esque pose for five full minutes. (I call this the “Dancing Kier-sha.”) I encountered a most unusual (transgendered?!) planter in my apartment’s courtyard. S/he needs a name. Any ideas?
