In my last post, I mentioned how much I adored México and that I would return. This wasn’t just a pipe dream! My desire manifested and thus, 4 months later, I find myself in the Southern Mexican state of Oaxaca, whose capital (where I am stationed for the next month) is called Oaxaca de Juarez, a.k.a. Oaxaca City. Below are a few images I have captured so far.
As of today (Thursday) I’ve had one week off: no work, limited responsibility, and beautiful weather here on the shore. And my “staycation” is not over yet! I have three days left before a month-long trip to Minneapolis, wherein I’ll be participating in an intensive yoga teacher training. On Christmas Eve Day, I took my dog for a stroll along the beach. The weather was unseasonably warm — almost 70 degrees. After a mile or so, we came upon this message in the sand, and I snapped a pic using my camera phone.
