So elegant, especially w/ that shadow. Talk about timing! I can’t imagine you having much time to “fuss about” w/ composition. One of those brilliant point-and-shoot moments and you captured it beautifully!

Sharing a few breadcrumbs with the local avian population encouraged this feathered friend to fly close enough that I might capture a few good shots. 🙂 Cropping the picture afterwards gave me a bit of leeway, composition-wise. And the shadow is what makes this image complete. (How very Jungian–haha.)
